Description

A blue ceramic vase decorated with a cockatoo and foliage sits overflowing with red and orange flowers, dark berries, and green stems against a warm coral-pink background. The composition balances bold botanical forms with expressive brushwork, layering pattern and color across the vase, florals, and geometric patterned surface beneath. Made to order from soft micro-twill and cut by hand, insert included. Real art for the spaces you actually use, not store-shelf filler.

Care

Lara Meintjes is a South African illustrator, happily living in Oakland, California while she is working towards a PhD at UC Berkeley. She is particularly interested in color and is delighted by the millions of sneaky tigers she has included in her paintings over the years. She can usually be found drinking tea and occasionally, completely accidentally, paint water. She wishes she smoked a pipe.
